Detailed itinerary for this classic trip discovering Vietnam
Day 01: Arrival Ha Noi
Meet and greet upon arrival to airport.
Transfer to our hotel in Ha Noi. Overnight in hotel at Ha Noi.
Day 02: Ha Noi city tour (B,L)
Today, we have full-day tour of Vietnam’s capital city. You will visit the house on - stilts of Ho Chi Minh ( this is where our uncle Ho spent the rest of his life ) and the One Pillar Pagoda ( it was constructed in 1049) and the Litterature Temple ( a habitual symbol of Hanoi ), the Museum of Ethnology. Enjoy fish cake lunch at typical Hanoi restaurant. Visit Hang Bong Street to purchase Communion party banners/badges. Tonight we will attend the water puppet show. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 03: Ha Noi- Perfume Pagoda (B,L)
Departing Hanoi at 07.30 we have a two hour drive through the picturesque countryside and back roads to the village of Duc for some refreshments before boarding our boats for a 1.5 hour ride along the scenic Yen river. After this we will walk to the Thien Tru Pagoda (Heavens Kitchen) and the Perfume Cave and Pagoda - an hours walk in total. On our way back we visit Giai Oan and Tuyet Son Pagodas. Lunch will be at one of the little food stalls near Thien Tru Pagoda. After lunch the boat will take us back to our car for the drive back to Hanoi. We arrive in Hanoi around 18.00.
Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 04: Ha Noi- Ninh Binh - night train to Sapa (B,L)
8.00 a.m: Drive 2 hours through the northern countryside to Tam Coc. Embark on an open river sampan for a 3 hour cruise along the Ngo Dong River flowing peacefully between 2 spectacular limestone mountain ranges. Enjoy the wonders of nature. Feel the peace and quiet. And bring along your camera ! After lunch drive along the wonderful route of Vietnam’s “ Inland Ha Long Bay “ through villages, rice fields and impressive limestone mountains. Enter HoaLu, the capital city of Vietnam before 1010 AD, and discover an important piece of the country’s early history in the “ Ancient Capital ". Transfer back to Ha Noi train station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.
Day 05: Sapa tribal Village (B, L)
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours to make our way up the mountains. Once at Sapa, we will check into hotel, we have a freshen up and breakfast at the hotel. At 10am from the hotel there will be a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, and Sinchai villages home to the Hmong hill tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Return to Sapa in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Sa Pa.
Day 06: Sapa tribal Village (B, L)
After breakfast we will take a jeep along the valley to Rose Garden. From here we will trek into the verdant villages and rice field to Lao Chai and Tavan villages. Ta Van is the village In northern Vietnam in habited by the colour fully-dressed Dzay ethnic minority. Opportunity to learn and see H’mong people working with natural weaving and dying .This village is supposed to be one of the most beautiful area in this regions. Afternoon walk to Ham rong mountain for a birth eye view to Moung Hoa valley and Fansipan mountain. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 07: Sapa- night train to Ha Noi (B)
Free leisure time until to transfer to Lao Cai Station to take the train to Ha Noi. Overnight on solf sleeper train.
Day 08: Ha Noi- Ha Long Bay (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will be transfered to Halong Bay, which will take about 3 hours. Arrive Halong bay you will board to cruise around Halong bay and soak in the misty atmosphere of this world heritage site. Halong bay is a breathtaking secluded bay with over 3,000 limestone islands rising from the clear emerald waters of the Bac Bo gulf. It is one of the most magnificent scenic regions in Vietnam and has been referred to as the 8th Wonder of the World. The area of about 1500sq km is dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes, created over thousands of year by the waves and wind. You will have the opportunity to swim from your boat and explore some caves. You will enjoy a seafood feast for lunch on board. We will continue our excursion around this stunning bay until the sun comes down.

Day 09: Ha Long Bay- Ha Noi (B)
Today you will have time to explore the stunning Halong bay. Continuing to visit caves, islands and swimming on beautiful beaches. Transfer back to Ha Noi. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 10: Ha Noi- Hue (B,L)
Today we take the flight to Hue. Transfer to our hotel in Hue. This afternoon we explore Imperial Citadel and check out amazing Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 11: Hue- Da Nang- Hoi An (B)
Morning boat cruise on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang Royal Tomb.
Overland to Hue via Lang Co beach, Hai van pass and Marble Mountains. Visit to Cham Museum in Danang. Arrive to Hoian, check in hotel. Free at leisure.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 12: Hoi An - Free leisure time (B)
Today, you will have free time to explore Hoi An by yourselves. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 13: Da Nang- Nha Trang (B)
Flight to Nhatrang. Transfer to our hotel in Nhatrang. Free at leisure. You will have 3 days at leisure to enjoy the beach or explore Nha Trang by yourselves. Overnight at hotel in Nhatrang.
Day 14: Nha Trang- Free leisure time (B)
Day 15: Nha Trang- Free leisure time (B)
Day 16: Nha Trang- Sai Gon (B)
Free leisure time until transfer to airport for your flight to Sai Gon. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 17: Sai Gon- Cu Chi Tunnel (B,L)
Am: Explore Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence.
PM: Tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, takes in the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 18: Me Kong Delta (B,L)
We set off this morning for a drive through the Mekong Delta to Cai Be floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Following these visits we will once again board our vehicle for the drive to Ho Chi Minh City.
Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 19: Departure (B)
Morning at leisure until the departure transfer to airport for your flight home.

Two weeks for memorial Vietnam
This classic trip lasts for two weeks with full of memorial about Vietnam people, landscapes and culture with our best sales tour – Vietnam Discovery which start from Hanoi capital to hill tribe of Thai people in Maichau, scenic of Halong bay before historical site of Hue. Day 1 : Arrival Hanoi ( D )
Welcome at Noi Bai airport. Transfer to hotel then free at your leisure. Welcome dinner at Sen Tay Ho international buffet Restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2 : Hanoi City tour ( B, L, D )
Today we start our one-day city tour from the lobby of the hotel. We will drive to Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hour to visit: Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature. Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.
In the afternoon, we will visit; Museum of Ethnology. Following by that we will join in one-hour cyclo (paddle rickshaw) trip around the Hanoi Old Quarter. Then, we will have chance enjoy the unique Water Puppet show that reflects daily Vietnamese life in the past. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3 : Hanoi – Mai Chau ( B, L, D)
Morning: Leaving Hanoi, you will transfer to Mai Chau Valley – located in North West of Vietnam. It takes about 4 hours road trip to get there. Arrive in Mai Chau, have lunch in a family house in the local village.
Afternoon: Bicycle around the surrounding villages of White Thai Ethnic people. Learn more about their lives and cultures as your guide can help answer any questions. Dinner and drink ““ruou can” (traditional alcohol) with the family.
Sleep in the village, in the stilt house, the most interesting part of the trip. Stilt houses are unique to Mai Chau and you cannot find this experience in other tour. You can sleep in the large communal room or you can order a private room
Day 4 : Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L, D)
The early morning is the most peaceful time to walk aroud the villages. See women prepare foods on the wooden fire while the sun is rising over the beautiful mountains.
After breakfast in the village, we will walk to Mai Chau market then climb to 1000 Step Cave. The cave is breathtaking and so is the view of the area from the entrance of the cave. Have lunch in the village before getting on the bus back to Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi, have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 5 : Hanoi – Halong ( B, L, D)
Today you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay – World Natural Heritage site – via the Red River Delta with 3.5 hours drive. Welcome on board for a junk cruise and set sail in the bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Late afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board your jun, enjoy watching the peaceful sunset and later unwind at a restaurant. Overnight on cruise
Day 6 : Halong – Hanoi – Overnight train to Hue ( B,L,D )
Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves and bird welcoming the new day. You will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Drive back to Hanoi. Free at your leisure until transfer to Hanoi Station, leaving Hanoi for Hue city. Overnight on train
Day 7 : Hue - City tour ( L,D )
Arrive in Hue Station, our guide and driver will pick you up there. Then transferring for breakfast and rest. In this morning, you will have a morning cruise on the Perfume River, with views of the city and tranquil villages. A short walk up to the Thien Mu Pagoda overlooking the Perfume River. Learn more about Buddhism in Vietnam here, then take a short ride by cyclo to visit the former Imperial Citadel. Lunch at a local restaurant
In the afternoon visit the splendid royal tombs. There are actually more than 6 tombs but we will only visit the best of them including Minh Mang and Khai Dinh, go shopping at Dong Ba Market. Have time for dinner. Settle on boat to enjoy traditional music show on Perfume river. Overnight at hotel in Hue City
Day 8 : Hue – DMZ ( B, L, D )
After breakfast, we head North on Highway One toward Dong Ha, stop at sites along the way, such as Highway of Horror, Quang Tri Citadel, the Ai Tu Airfield. Continue to Dong Ha, the former headquarters of the elements of the U.S Marines, head west on Route 9. The first stop is the Rockpile, a look-out of the U.S Marine Corps. Continue to Khe Sanh village, visit Khe Sanh Combat Base. Lunch in Dong Ha
After lunch, head north to visit the Hien Luong Bridge over the Ben Hai River at the middle of the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), the river that was the only true physical demarcation between North and South Vietnam. Continue to Vinh Moc tunnels, the refuge of some 400 North Vietnamese inhabitants during the bombing operation “Rolling Thunder”. Back to Hue, dinner and overnight at Hue city
Day 9 : Hue – Hoian ( B, L, D )
Leaving Hue, we will move to an interesting in the middle of Vietnam. That’s Hoi An Ancient town. It takes over 3 hours to get there. On the way to Hoi An, you will stop at Hai Van pass for taking photos. Time for lunch after checking in hotel
Afternoon: Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit Temple Kwan, Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung house, Japanese Bridge and cultural show rooms in Hoi An. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hoi An
Day 10 : Hoian – Danang – Nhatrang ( B, L)
Before leaving Hoi An for next destination, you will have chance to visit Kim Bong carpentry village. Coming here, you will be able to see them working in their workshop. You will also witness the building of ships at the local shipyard. Next, the boat will take you to Thanh Ha pottery village. At Thanh Ha you will witness the process of making pottery products. All visitors will be invited to try to make pottery themselves, with their own hands. Afterwards they can keep their creations as a souvenir. Lunch at local restaurant
After lunch, we will transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Nha Trang – Beach city.
Arrive in Nha Trang, you will be met and transfer for hotel. Free at your own leisure. Overnight at Nha Trang
Day 11 : Nha Trang Relaxation (B)
You will free discovery Nha Trang city at your own leisure. Overnight at Nha Trang
Day 12: Nhatrang – Overnight train to Saigon ( B)
Continue visiting at your own leisure until transfer for train Station to departure to Saigon. Overnight on train
Day 13 : Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnel ( B,L,D )
Arrive in Saigon, our guide and driver will pick you up at Saigon station to transfer for hotel. Free at your leisure. Lunch at local restaurant
Afternoon: We travel out of Ho Chi Minh city to visit the famous Vietcong tunnels at Cu Chi. This incredible system, covering nearly 250km, was shelter out over 16,000 communist guerillas during the war. We gain insight into the tenacity of these soldiers and have the opportunity to go inside the tunnels. Then, drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Dinner and overnight in HCMC.
Day 14 : Saigon - Mekong Delta ( B, L, D )
We will take a full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just 1 hour and half by road from Ho Chi Minh City. We will have a full day trip here to catch a glimpse of the famous Mekong River. Upon arrival we will take a boat trip along narrow waterways overhung with dense vegetation visiting the fish whalf, the 4 famous islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix. Then take a short tour to the bank of Mekong River visiting a rice farm, candy workshop and honey bee farm, then journey by sampan through the canals and mangrove forests where we watch the fishermen lay their fish traps. Enjoy time on the Unicorn island visiting the local fruit, tea mixed with bee’s honey, and visit Dong Tam Snake farm.
Then, drive to Can Tho city, dinner and overnight at hotel in Can Tho.
Day 15 : Mekong Delta – Saigon (B, L, D )
After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market with the busy sence right at the time. Keep cruising through the small channels system, visit the rice noodles making viallge. Experience the " monkey Bridge " in the Delta. Visit the second floating market of Cai Rang. Break time for lunch. If time permits we can stop to visit Dong Tam snake farm or Vinh Trang pagoda on the way back to Ho Chi Minh city. Dinner and overnight in HCMC
Day 16 : Saigon departure ( B )
Free at your leisure until transfer for airport. Good bye Vietnam

Day 1: Saigon arrival (D)

Day 2: Sightseeing Saigon (B,L,D)
We will drive to visit Re-unification palace, the former head quarters of anti-communism in the south during Vietnam War. We then take a short walk to visit the Vietnam War Remnant Museum, full of relics from Vietnam war which is scary but really worth to visit. We go to Notre-Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office to have a look and take picture. We will visit XQ hand embroidery pictures contributed a new color for Vietnam hand embroidery, It contributed to make a typical culture, a precious gift for Vietnamese people and meaningful souvenir for international visitors on their occasion to Vietnam. Embroidery picture of Vietnam are also taken oversea in order to introduce the beauty of Vietnamese traditional culture. Since that, embroidery becomes special art which contribute to enrich international cultural treasure. Then stroll around the central market Ben Thanh. Have time for lunch
In the afternoon, we continue to visit China Town which has a population of over 1 million Chinese people. The highlight of China Town is the Binh Tay market where you can see busy merchants from every corner of this part of the city. We visit Thien Hau Pagoda and a handicraft factory before heading back to your hotel. Overnight at HCMC
Day 3: Saigon - Hoian World Heritage (B,L,D)
Leaving Sai Gon, we take the one-hour flight to Da Nang city. Then, we make the 60 minute drive from Danang Airport to Hoi An city. From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. We enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Following the tour there will be free time to shop or relax. Overnight in Hoi An
Day 4: Hoian - Cooking class (B,L,D)
Today, you will have an interesting experience in Hoi An with cooking class tour. Starting tour, our chef will guide you to the colorful market. This is a very good opportunity for you to communicate with sellers, get to know about their daily life in Hoi An and understand more Vietnamese ingredients and its substitution that we use for our cooking class on the boat.
After leaving the market, we walk to the boat anchoring nearby. Upon boarding the boat you will be greeted by our crew and guided to a private table with your welcome drinks, then start cruising for 30 minutes to a very quiet and nice place on Thu Bon river and anchor here for the two- hour Hands-On cooking class conducted in English. You will have chance to discover the culture of Vietnamese culinary art and will prepare the same dish yourself after our chef finishes each dish. Full of joy and pride, you savor your own culinary creation. After the cooking lesson, you will have lunch with what you have cooked.

Day 5: Hoian - Hue - Unique experience (B,L,D)
You bid Hoi An farewell this morning and continue your north-bound journey. The next destination today is Hue city about four hours drive. Along the way you will travel over the Hai Van Pass, stopping at the top to take in the stunning views of the Lang Co beach before arriving in Hue.
This afternoon we embark on a tour of the city. A visit to Hue would not be complete without taking in attractions such as the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. Dinner and overnight in Hue
Day 6: Hue - Active day (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will board a private boat and cruise the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be the focus of today's itinerary.
The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. You will have a great view of the Perfume River and the surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda is considered the unofficial symbol of Hue, and center of Buddhism in central Vietnam. From there you process to the king Tu Duc's tomb and the king Minh Mang's tomb followd by the king Khai Dinh's tomb. Overnight in Hue
Day 7: Hue - Hanoi Capital (B,L,D)
Leaving Hue city, we take the one-hour flight to Hanoi Capital. Warmly welcome on arrival Hanoi airport. Transfer to hotel. Free at your leisure
Afternoon you will take a private walking city tour to visit local market and Hanoi Old Quarter known for its 36 streets and former craft guilds. Evening enjoy a water puppet performance. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 8: Hanoi City tour. (B,L,D)
Full-day private city tour. The post-colonial capital city of Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, numerous lakes, pagodas and temples. This full day tour takes you around Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilt House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Also on the tour - the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers' street Thanh Nien, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. Day 1: Saigon arrival (D)
Arrive in Sai Gon (former name of Ho Chi Minh City), settle into hotel and meet your tour leader. Welcome dinner on Saigon River Cruise. Overnight at hotel in HCMC
Day 2: Sightseeing Saigon (B,L,D)
We will drive to visit Re-unification palace, the former head quarters of anti-communism in the south during Vietnam War. We then take a short walk to visit the Vietnam War Remnant Museum, full of relics from Vietnam war which is scary but really worth to visit. We go to Notre-Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office to have a look and take picture. We will visit XQ hand embroidery pictures contributed a new color for Vietnam hand embroidery, It contributed to make a typical culture, a precious gift for Vietnamese people and meaningful souvenir for international visitors on their occasion to Vietnam. Embroidery picture of Vietnam are also taken oversea in order to introduce the beauty of Vietnamese traditional culture. Since that, embroidery becomes special art which contribute to enrich international cultural treasure. Then stroll around the central market Ben Thanh. Have time for lunch
In the afternoon, we continue to visit China Town which has a population of over 1 million Chinese people. The highlight of China Town is the Binh Tay market where you can see busy merchants from every corner of this part of the city. We visit Thien Hau Pagoda and a handicraft factory before heading back to your hotel. Overnight at HCMC
Day 3: Saigon - Hoian World Heritage (B,L,D)
Leaving Sai Gon, we take the one-hour flight to Da Nang city. Then, we make the 60 minute drive from Danang Airport to Hoi An city. From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. We enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Following the tour there will be free time to shop or relax. Overnight in Hoi An
Day 4: Hoian - Cooking class (B,L,D)
Today, you will have an interesting experience in Hoi An with cooking class tour. Starting tour, our chef will guide you to the colorful market. This is a very good opportunity for you to communicate with sellers, get to know about their daily life in Hoi An and understand more Vietnamese ingredients and its substitution that we use for our cooking class on the boat.
After leaving the market, we walk to the boat anchoring nearby. Upon boarding the boat you will be greeted by our crew and guided to a private table with your welcome drinks, then start cruising for 30 minutes to a very quiet and nice place on Thu Bon river and anchor here for the two- hour Hands-On cooking class conducted in English. You will have chance to discover the culture of Vietnamese culinary art and will prepare the same dish yourself after our chef finishes each dish. Full of joy and pride, you savor your own culinary creation. After the cooking lesson, you will have lunch with what you have cooked.

Day 5: Hoian - Hue - Unique experience (B,L,D)
You bid Hoi An farewell this morning and continue your north-bound journey. The next destination today is Hue city about four hours drive. Along the way you will travel over the Hai Van Pass, stopping at the top to take in the stunning views of the Lang Co beach before arriving in Hue.
This afternoon we embark on a tour of the city. A visit to Hue would not be complete without taking in attractions such as the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. Dinner and overnight in Hue
Day 6: Hue - Active day (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will board a private boat and cruise the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be the focus of today's itinerary.
The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. You will have a great view of the Perfume River and the surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda is considered the unofficial symbol of Hue, and center of Buddhism in central Vietnam. From there you process to the king Tu Duc's tomb and the king Minh Mang's tomb followd by the king Khai Dinh's tomb. Overnight in Hue
Day 7: Hue - Hanoi Capital (B,L,D)
Leaving Hue city, we take the one-hour flight to Hanoi Capital. Warmly welcome on arrival Hanoi airport. Transfer to hotel. Free at your leisure
Afternoon you will take a private walking city tour to visit local market and Hanoi Old Quarter known for its 36 streets and former craft guilds. Evening enjoy a water puppet performance. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 8: Hanoi City tour. (B,L,D)
Full-day private city tour. The post-colonial capital city of Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, numerous lakes, pagodas and temples. This full day tour takes you around Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilt House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Day 9: Hanoi - Halong bay - Natural World Heritage (B,L,D)
Today you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay – World Natural Heritage site – via the Red River Delta with 3.5 hours drive. Welcome on board for a junk cruise and set sail in the bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swimming on a quiet beach or sunbathing on the sundeck. Late afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board your jun, enjoy watching the peaceful sunset and later unwind at a restaurant. Overnight on cruise
Day 10: Halong - Hanoi (B,L,D)
Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves and bird welcoming the new day. You will have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. Detailed Itinerary
AM: Pick up at your hotel in Hue from 08:00 - 08:30 and drive to visit the following tourist attractions of the city.
- Hat and incenses stick making village: learning the traditional job of people here and you can buy some for souvenirs…
- Tu Duc tomb: Tu Duc designed the exquisitely harmonious tomb, which was constructed between 1864 and 1867, for use both before and after his death.
- Minh Mang tomb: Said to be the most majestic of all of the Royal Tombs. Renowned for its architecture, which harmoniously blends into the nature surroundings.
- Khai Dinh tomb: unlike Hue’s other tombs, being a synthesis of Vietnamese and European elements. Even the stone faces of the mandarin honour guards are endowed with a mixture of Vietnamese and European features.
12:00: Back to the city to enjoy Vietnamese food (Eating lunch and end services of half day tourist at 13h00)
PM: After lunch, we continue our tour to visit Hue Citadel. Here, we will see the tallest flag pole of Vietnam (37m-hight), Ngo Mon gate where Bao Dai ended Nguyen dynasty, Thai Hoa palace ( Palace of Supreme Hamony), Hall of the Mandarins, Forbidden Purple city… After that we move to visit Thien Mu pagoda which was built on a hillock overlooking the Perfume river, this pagoda is an icon of Vietnam and the symbol of Hue city.
Cruise the beautiful perfume river by dragon boat viewing daily life along the way. Visit some villages and do not miss viewing sunset on the river

7 km South of Da Lat, 320 ha, the nicest lake of the city.
+ Truc Lam Zen monastery:
Over look Tuyen Lam Lake, at present is the biggest University in Vietnam. Please dress decently.
2/ Prenn waterfall:
10 km South of Dalat with a mini zoo.
3/ Valley of Love:
6 km to the North, typical scenery of Dalat, dotted with lake, pine hills and flowers, well – known for its Cow-boys, a good place for horse riding.
4/ Bao Dai’s SummerPalace:
3 km from Dalat’s center, where the last Emperor of Vietnam. Bao Dai stayed and ruled the country from 1914 to 1954
5/ Domain de Marie Church:
5 km from the center, a French built Convent with remarkable architectural style and garden.
6/ Lake of Sight: This natural lake situated on top of a hill covered with pine trees, 6km east of Dalat City. The sounds from the forest resemble the sighing of an invisible man. The lake has been surrounded by many stories and legends with sorrowful endings in which the heroine drowns in the lake to keep her true love forever. The lake has a vast and calm surface. Standing on the edge of the lake, a small path running towards the forest can be seen.
7/ Dalat Historical Village:
The place where the collection of the most valuable embroidery artworks is kept and exhibited. By the language of things, performance art, visitor shall hear the breath of life by the harmony of embroidery artworks.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour
Today, you will be picked up at 08.00 for city tour - visit to the most important attractions of the city such sites as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum & Residence, One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Hanoi “Hilton”, History or Ethnology museum, finish your visit today by a cyclo tour around the Old Quarter to discover Hanoi’s mesmerizing streets, the Lake of the Restored Sword and enjoy a rural traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer by A/C auto driver/guide to to Halong Bay. Enjoy the great scenery of the surrounding farmlands of the Red River Delta including rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life.
On arrival in Halong, you will board the Traditional Junk, a fantastic replica of a junk that navigated Halong Bay’s shallow waters a century ago to see the 1,500 km over which thousands of limestone islands and grottoes rise from the clear emerald waters of the Gulf of Bac Bo. Visit Cua Van fishing village – see the actual daily life of fishing village people and explore Surprise cave (one of the most famous caves on the bay). Then free for swimming or kayaking (optional)… Dinner will be served on boat.

Day 4: Halong Bay - Da Nang/ Hoi An
Breakfast will be served on board. Enjoy sun rise in the morning from the top of your boat. Continue your cruising for more exploration of the Bay with the tiny limestone islands are dotted with many beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves that provide an excellent backdrop for swimming. Drop off at the pier at around mid-day and transfer back to Hanoi’s airport to take early evening flight to Da Nang. Meet with our local guide and A/C auto driver in Da nang and transfer to Hoi An. Time at leisure.

Days 5: Hoi An
Enjoy morning cooking class. The tour will be started with a short trip to visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. You will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – the chefs first demonstrate each dish before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Enjoy your lunch with what you have cooked.
Next, your guide will take you on a tour of the ancient town by cyclo along the narrow streets to visit the homes of former merchants, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, the ancient house and the exotic local market. Remainder of the day is free on your own exploration or picking up your clothes from tailors.

Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh city (formerly known as Saigon)
A/C Auto drive & guide from Hoi An to Danang to take a noontime flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival to HCMC’s airport your private guide with A/C auto car will greet you and transfer through the city to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free at leisure for shopping at Ben Thanh market.

Day 8: Visit Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh city tour
Have your breakfast at hotel then depart HCMC for Cu Chi Tunnels to visit the underground network which stretched for over 200km and became legendary during the 1960s. The Cu Chi tunnels played a vital part in the U.S - Vietnam War. The network, parts of which were several levels deep, included innumerable trap doors, specifically constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command center and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and feel of what underground life during the war.
Afternoon, enjoy city tour to visit Notre Dame Cathedral was built between 1877 and 1883 and the stone used to create it was exported in its entirety from France. Next to the cathedral stands the Central Post Office, finished in 1891. It is another fine example of French architecture and is Vietnam’s largest post office. Continue to visit the Reunification Palace and. Your tour will be ended with a stroll around the bustling Ben Thanh Market .

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta/ Cai Be floating market
In the morning, you’ll leave Ho Chi Minh City for the Mekong Delta town of Cai Be, where you will board a boat to see the floating market. Along the way, you also visit the many fascinating local cottages industries including rice paper makers, sweet factory, bonsai nurseries. A huge lunch followed with many seasonal fruits at an orchard is some enjoyment of the trip. You then weave our way through the intricate network of canals which are the lifeblood of the Mekong Delta before you meet up with your vehicle to come back Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10: Departure
Today is departure day. Enjoy some free time for last purchases or simply relax before transfer to Ho Chi Minh ’s Tan Son Nhat Airport for your onward flight. Ends of trip.
