Taste Vietnamese Special Foods

This set of gourmet tours will drive you to the destinations where you can taste special dishes of Vietnam and also you have chances to get fun ‘hands on’ cooking lesson and then it is the time to enjoy your delicious creations.


Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City

Arrive in Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City. Get picked up and transferred to your hotel. Today, you will have a brief meeting with your tour guide / group leader for more necessary information and travel documents. Your gourmet experience will begins today with a savory dinner in an authentic local restaurant. Overnight in hotel. (D).


Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City


Your day will start with a buffet breakfast then take a cyclo tour around Saigon Center for visiting to War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Centre Post office and so on. Lunch with Pho – a well known Vietnamese noodle soup - severed in Pho 2000 restaurant. This afternoon you will take the culinary discovery with a fun cooking class in Saigon. The experience begins with a fascinating visit to the market, where the expert chefs will introduce you about ingredients and ways of substituting them. Get fun ‘hands on’ cooking lesson and then it is the time to enjoy your delicious creations. Free at your leisure for the remainder of the evening to explore and enjoy the nightlife of Saigon. Day 3: Mekong Delta

Drive to Mekong delta for a full day tour. Enjoy the lush and evergreen scenery of the most fertile land in the country. Take a boat cruise on Mekong River, visit orchard garden and taste local fruits freshly picked from trees then visit some local cottage industry. Lunch is served with local specialties in a fresh garden before you take a sit on sampan for rowing to explore the mangroves of the Mekong Delta along meandering rivers. Boarding the big boat to get back to the harbor then bus drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Free evening and overnight in hotel. (B,L)

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Hoi An

In the morning you will take a flight from Saigon to Da Nang on the Central Coast then take a short bus drive to the Hoi An ancient town. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of this beautiful town for sightseeing, photos and shopping. Dinner is served in one of the best restaurant in town. Overnight in hotel. (B,D)

Day 5: Hoi An

This morning will start with a tour to Tra Que, a small village in the suburb of Hoi An, that known for growing the country's best vegetables and herb. Joining with villagers and learn how they grow vegetables there on the dry sand. Followed by a walk around the village, taking photos and then visit one of local home to learn about their life. In the afternoon your local chef will take you to the market to have introduction about and get cooking ingredients before the cooking class where he will impart the secret of some special Vietnamese dishes with the flavor of Hoi An. Enjoy your savory creations and realize how wonderful a cook you are. Overnight in hotel. (B,D)

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue

Depart Hoi An for a scenic drive along picturesque rice paddies, verdant mountains and spectacular beaches to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, city of historical interests and home to 'Royal Cuisine'. Spend your afternoon to visit the Imperial Citadel, a huge work built by the last feudal dynasty of the country and explore the ruin of the Purple Forbidden City. Tonight you will have a chance to attend a Royal Banquet style dinner, with dragon robe and crown put on, in one of Hue’s unique royal style decorated restaurant. Overnight in hotel. (B,D)

Day 7: Hue – Hanoi

Today you will have a flight to get to Hanoi. After arrival in the capital city, in the afternoon you will spend your time to visit Temple of Literature, the first university in the country built in 1070 and the Ngoc Son temple, a Jade on the Hoan Kiem Lake. In the middle afternoon, you will have a stroll around local market with your local chef to learn about unique delicacies of North Vietnam and taste some of the ingredients used in the local cuisine and to watch the buying and selling rituals of a Vietnamese market before enjoying the hand-on cooking class and savor your creations. Day 8: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Take a drive through beautiful rural scenery of North of Vietnam. Board your cruising vessel and enjoy a scrumptious seafood lunch as you cruise among thousand of dramatic limestone karsts into the breathtaking scenery of the World Natural Wonder. Visit a cave, go swimming, kayak and take part in a Vietnamese spring roll cooking demonstration or just simply relax as you wind through the Bay. Overnight on board in Halong Bay. (B,L,D)

Day 9: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Further cruise and enjoy a wholesome brunch before getting back to harbor at noon. Drive back to Hanoi have a stop to visit a ceramic making village in Dong Trieu to learn how beautiful ceramic stuff are made. Free at leisure for the remainder of the afternoon for wandering around the Old Quarter for sightseeing, photos and last shopping. A farewell dinner will be organized this evening and it is the time to summarize the experience of the whole trip. Overnight in hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 10: Hanoi Departure

Today is departure day. Free at your leisure until time to depart for your flight. Safe travel. (B)
